FRENCH III ORAL FINAL TOPICS
May 25, 2006
Listed below are the three possible topics for the Oral
Final Exam on Thursday, May 25, 2006.
On that date, the teacher will select the situation and which role each
student will play. Therefore, each
student should be prepared to perform every role in all three of the
situations.
A.
Quand nous étions jeunes... Your parents, teachers, and other people older
than you often have childhood memories that are quite different from your
experience. Create a conversation
in which you are talking to someone older about the differences and
similarities between how you grow up today and how he grew up 20 or 30 years
ago. Use as many comparative expressions
as possible.
B.
Mes projets de vacances. Tell a classmate about your plans for the
summer using the future tense (not the immediate future--aller + infinitive!). He will ask you questions about your planned
activities and those of your family and friends.
C.
Mes rêves. Most of us have
dreams and fantasies. Discuss with a
group of classmates what you would do if circumstances were different. You may use some of the following phrases as
possible points of departure: If
I had the time…, If I had the money…, If I were
younger…, If I were rich…If I lived in…, etc.
