SPANISH II FIRST SEMESTER ORAL FINALS

Listed below are the four possible topics for the Oral Final Exam on Monday, January 12, 2004.  On that date, the teacher will select the situation and which role each student will play.  Therefore, each student should be prepared to perform every role in all four of the situations.

 

A.     Este fin de semana.  Imagine that you and a friend are trying to decide what to do this weekend.  Take turns suggesting activities using the nosotros command form.  Both of you should suggest and react to three different activities.

 

B.    El fin de semana pasado.  Pretend that you are talking long distance on the telephone to a friend.  Take turns asking and answering questions about what you did last weekend.  You should discuss at least four activities and your answers should include on which day each activity occurred.

 

C.    Planes para la fiesta.  It’s your grandparent’s 50th anniversary and you are making sure the house is ready.  In groups of three, decide with your brothers and cousins who will do which chores.  Each person will give at least two individual commands and two group commands.  You will then decide to accept the chores given to you or suggest another you will do.

 

D.    Un día al parque de atracciones.  Imagine that you have just come back from a very unusual day at the amusement park and are telling your friend what was happening.  For each event you describe, your friend will ask you for additional or more specific information.
